In order for this lock set to comply with BS3621 insurance ratings it MUST be fitted with the security escutcheons supplied.

You would generally select this type of lock for exterior doors, when an insurance rated lock is required.

This set is intended for use on standard external quality doors (45mm thick) and as such is not suitable for use with standard internal quality doors (35mm thick), as it comes supplied with 70mm cylinders.

If you require euro profile dead locks for standard internal doors (35mm thick) you would need to select an EDS50 lock case, together with a suitably sized cylinder or cylinder and turn and euro profile escutcheons.
