Grade 13 Triple Knuckle Hinge. Radius (Max Load 120kg) They have a CE mark and are Certifire tested. BS EN 1935 rated. Comes with a 25 year mechanical guarantee and are fire door rated. Suitable for all domestic, commercial and industrial use. These high load hinges are designed for longevity with a “fit-and-forget” solution. There is no metal to metal movement within the hinge instead using carbon steel and porous bronze flanged bushes impregnated with a specially formulated lubricant. This construction eliminates the wear and regular maintenance required by other types of hinge and because they do not wear, they will not fail and require no maintenance. The drill positioning and better quality fixings help to spread the load on timber door frames and stiles. For standard internal residential doors a pair of hinges is adequate;ÿ however fitting 3 hinges per door has its advantages. It will look aesthetically pleasing and from a practical viewpoint it helps spread the load evenly and will help to overcome twisting or warping. This can sometimes happen to doors over a period of time where heat and moisture are a factor.
