The Zoo Hardware ZS‑ALP250BF‑SSS Anti‑Ligature Pull Handle is expertly engineered for safety-critical environments such as healthcare, forensic and psychiatric facilities. Crafted from Grade 304 satin stainless steel, this handle combines exceptional strength with corrosion resistance. Its solid cast construction eliminates potential ligature points, making it compliant with DHF TS001 enhanced standards.
With a total length of 300 mm and a 250 mm center‑to‑center fixing (280 mm overall projection), the handle offers a generous ergonomic grip while minimizing protrusion. The bolt‑fix (BF) configuration secures it firmly on one side; to complete a back‑to‑back pair, pair with the ZS‑ALP250GS‑SSS grub‑screw half.
Safety is built in—this model has successfully passed BS EN 1634‑1 fire testing for 30 and 60‑minute timber fire doors. Anti‑ligature performance meets the highest rating (A4 – 0.5 mm ligature size) under independent DHF testing, ensuring no hooks, protrusions or recessed cavities where cord or ligature material could catch.
